Shedding Cold Stagnance
Starting over and shedding new
Leaves of change are falling
Against the current and growing weak
A breath of new life is overdue

Release and relieve all the pressures and stresses

Nature's depths are unfolding
I peer through the glass, ignoring the framework,
The image is frozen
A cold white blanket masks the underlying intentions and stagnance,
But the warmth from above spills over,
Shining a new light perspective
The picture erases itself into paint smear remanence
Although it's blurred and changed it's still ever-presently reminding me
When I think I should fall to pieces and break just like the others do,
Images of a life awaiting me start to seep through
But before I am granted approval to this dream I pursue,
I'm compelled by an overwhelming urge and question
Like a message of fateful proportion demanding me to choose
Between love and fear, there's devotion, something I must prove
Just when I think I should fall and break down
A place, a feeling, of warmth and protection takes over me,

Take this advice;
It comes from a no one, nobody knows
Take what you like, and leave what you will;
This philosopher's got nothing to gain just thoughts to spill
Oh, so many thoughts to spill
Those who wander will find a path
Those who gander may see
A great number can do the math but very few will read between
So take this advice;
It could lead to nowhere or it could change your life
Don't even think twice to let go of all of those inhibitions
Get lost in the moment; Lost in the rain
Let it all wash away
Take this advice and let it sink in;
You've got nothing to lose but maybe something to win
I'm not a prophet, I'm not a scholar,
But I may have some observational insights to offer
Those who gamble do take a chance
Those who love will bleed
Risking nothing yields no failures,
But can anyone really taste the fruit without knowing the worth of tending to their seed
So take this advice;

I will never be all that I could be,
For the hopes I have do far exceed my means
But nothing's stopping me from dreaming these dreams,
No matter how hard or far-fetched they seem to be
And I wonder how far?

How far will I fall from the target?
How far from the stars will I falter?
How lost will I be when I get where I'm going?
Who knows?
I will never see all there is to see,
For the blind man knows a light that's beyond me
Oh, That's not to say he couldn't stand to gain from a man of my ways
We are one, but not the same,
The beauty is difference
All the answers are the same,
It's the questions we ask that make the game
How far will I fall from the target?
How far from the stars will I falter?

If all the reasons that hold you in place, hold you down

No one spared, no, no one's free, but we think we are though
Ignorance doesn't make us innocent
None of us are bleeding, so no one seems to care
Tell me how it's fair? That others are in need and all we do is,
Change the channel, Numb our minds, Ignore it yet another time
No one cares to try and understand about our fellow brothers of a foreign land
Assume they're evil because that's what our TV told us
No one cares their land is being destroyed
Who gives a Fuck about genocide?
It's not us, so I guess it's somebody else's problem
None of us are bleeding, so no one seems to care
Tell me how it's fair? That others are in need and all we do is
